Kargil Vijay Diwas 2021 – ১৯৯৯ সালের ভারত পাকিস্তানের যুদ্ধের সময় জওয়ানরা, যে ত্যাগ স্বীকার করেছিলেন। সেই যুদ্ধে প্রয়াত শহিদ জওয়ানদের শ্রদ্ধার সাথে স্মরণ করছি। তাদের বলিদান আমাদের কাছে চিরস্মরণীয় থাকবে। 

১৯৯৯ সালের ভারত পাকিস্তানের যুদ্ধ, প্রায় দু মাস ধরে চলেছিল। যা আমরা কার্গিল যুদ্ধ নামে জানি। সেই যুদ্ধে অবশেষে ১৯৯৯ সালের ২৬ জুলাই ভারত কার্গিল যুদ্ধে জয়ী হয়। তখন থেকে ২৬ জুলাই দিনটাকে কার্গিল বিজয় দিবস হিসেবে পালন করা হয়। 

কার্গিল বিজয় দিবস কবে পালন করা হয় বা বিজয় দিবস – ২৬ জুলাই সমন্ধে কিছু অজানা তথ্য। এক ঝলকে দেখে নিন – 

  • ১৯৭১-এর যুদ্ধে, আলাদা দেশ হিসেবে পৃথিবীর মানচিত্রে উঠে এসেছিল বাংলাদেশ।
  • সেই যুদ্ধে ভাগ হয়ে গিয়েছিল পূর্ব পাকিস্তান এবং পশ্চিম পাকিস্তান।
  • তারপর পাকিস্তানের বিরুদ্ধে ১৯৯৯ সালের কার্গিল যুদ্ধ ছিল ভারতের প্রথম যুদ্ধ।
  • ১৯৯৯ সালের কার্গিল যুদ্ধের কারন ছিল – 
  • পাকিস্তানি সেনারা নিয়ন্ত্রণ রেখা অতিক্রম করে, ভারতের সীমান্তে ঢুকে পড়েছিল। 
  • পাকিস্তানি সেনাকে পিছু হঠাতে, ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনী অপারেশন শুরু করে।

বিজয় দিবস ২২ বছর পূর্তি, উপলক্ষ্যে ভারতীয় সেনার সেই বীরত্বের কাহিনী 

  • পৃথিবীর ইতিহাসে কার্গিল যুদ্ধই ছিল, সবথেকে উচ্চতম যুদ্ধ।
  • যুদ্ধের স্থান ছিল –  কার্গিল, সিয়াচেন এবং লাদাখ অঞ্চলে।
  • সেই অঞ্চলগুলো সমুদ্র পৃষ্ঠ থেকে অনেক উঁচুতে,
  • এর উচ্চতা ছিল – ৮ হাজার ৭৮০ ফুট সাম্প্রতিক কালে এত উচ্চতায় এমন যুদ্ধ হয়নি।

  • সেই সময়ে ভারতীয় বায়ু সেনাবাহিনীও অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করেছিল। 
  • অপারেশন বিজয়ের মতোই ভারতীয় বায়ু সেনাবাহিনীর অপারেশনের নাম ছিল ‘অপারেশন সফেদ সাগর’।
  • ভারতীয় বায়ু সেনার পাইলটদের অবদান ছিল অনস্বীকার্য মাত্র ৭ দিনের প্রস্তুতিতে।
  • ৩২ হাজার ফুট উপর থেকে ভারতীয় বায়ু সেনা যেভাবে যুদ্ধ করেছে।
